YOUTH TRAINING / SOUTH WINDSOR, CT

Athletic skills.
Their own path.

Some young athletes already dream of college or pro. Others are still figuring out what they enjoy. We help both build athletic skills, understand their bodies, and find goals they care about.

Learning to move well now gives them more choices later.

WHAT WE WORK ON

Skills for any sport.
Goals they can own.

They can love baseball, try something new, or still be deciding. We help them build physical skills and understand what they want from sport.

01

Become more athletic.

Practice accelerating, stopping, jumping, and changing direction. Build skills they can take into any sport they choose.

02

Find their own drive.

We ask what they enjoy and why they want to play. Then we set goals with them, so they know what they’re working toward.

03

Build for more seasons.

Account for growth, injury history, and their sports schedule. Develop the physical capacity to keep participating as the demands change.

Coaching led by Drew Cobin, with 16 years of experience working with youth, college, and MLB players.

TESTING & TRAINING

Start with the person.
Then build the plan.

We hear their goals, test where they are today, and explain what the results mean for their training.

See what we test
01

Assess

Discuss growth and injury history. Assess movement and choose relevant jump and speed tests for their age and experience.

02

Train

Use coaching, games, and movement challenges that fit their needs. Give them a say in goals and help them understand the work.

03

Retest

Repeat relevant tests to show what changed. Adjust training as they grow, learn, and find the sports they want to pursue.

Questions about youth training.

Do they need to be athletic already?

They can start from where they are. The evaluation helps us understand their experience, coordination, and needs before recommending training.

What if they already know they want to play college or pro?

Tell us what they’re aiming for. We’ll assess where they are now, set measurable training targets, and give them work that challenges them as they develop.

What if they play more than one sport?

We consider the sports they play and the demands of their schedule. Training develops movement skills they can use across activities.

What if they don’t know what they want yet?

They don’t need to have their sporting future planned out. We let them try different movement challenges, ask what they enjoy, and set small goals together.

How does their health shape the training?

We consider growth, injury history, their sports schedule, and their response to training. We adjust the work as their needs change and coordinate with their medical team when needed.
